Safran Aerospace / Safran Engineering services interview questions

Introduction:

Safran aerospace India pvt ltd is one of the leading aerospace companies in Bangalore. By knowing this, I had just applied for the technical authoring post via naukri. I was not sure in the job that I had applied, in terms of interview call. But, luckily I got a call from safran. HR called and asked me some questions whether I was interested in that technical author job or not…. Okay, you can go and read below what I actually conversed with HR.

Here, I want to share the conversations happened like a telephonic interview between me and HR (lady)

Conversation over a mobile:

HR: are you interested in technical authoring job?
Me: yes mam, I am interested

HR:  But, the bond period is about three years, is that okay for you?
Me: No problem, I am really interested in joining your company

HR: Alright, do you have any previous experience in the technical authoring job.
Me: Sorry, I have no experience in that.

HR: okay, leave it. We will provide training for you. Can you attend the Interview on Monday?
Me: yes mam, I can Attend the interview. Can you send me the venue details?

HR: I will send all the details to your email id. You should check out and come. All the best
Call ended…

Finally, I prepared well and went to the safran company in mid November of 2011

As I know, the authoring job is about creating manuals for the aircrafts and its parts. Therefore, I focused on the maintenance manual book while preparing for the interview.

After reaching Safran aerospace company, I was allowed to sit in the reception area. Then, HR came up and asked me to come to the cafeteria at the top floor of the company’s building.

I was requested to occupy the seat near the round table. Then, HR distributed the questions to me and others who all came for the same interview.

Questions asked:

Questions are consists of different sections. Patterns of the questions papers is as follows

Goodrich Aerospace Interview questions | Graduate Engineer Trainee interview process

It was a real interview experience with the Goodrich aerospace company which is located in Bangalore, India. When I was searching for the job, I had noted that Goodrich is one of the best aerospace companies with several branches across the country.

As an aeronautical engineer, I had applied for the post GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) in the production unit of Goodrich aerospace.

When I was called for the interview

I cannot remember the date of the interview call in the previous year, but I can tell that, it was between October and November and the time was in the evening 3 to 4’o clock.

What they asked me in the phone?

Recruitment HR asked my education qualification; especially he was focused to ask about the percentage in my school and college studies, which should be more than 65 % for the eligible process.

Then he asked me to come for the interview with my qualification certificates and mentioned the time in the interview call letter via email.

Interview process:

I was asked to sit in the cafeteria by the HR when I had reported on time for the interview in the reception area. Then, I had a chance to speak with other candidates who all came for the same GET post.

HR came and distributed the interview question paper that consists of two set of questions. (i.e) aptitude and mechanical paper

Aptitude questions:

It was bad for me that I had not prepared enough in the aptitude questions. The questions were from bar, charts, percentage, time and work etc.

Mechanical Paper:

The questions were from vibrations, engines, engineer mechanics, strength of materials etc.

Result:

I was failed in the interview process and took that as real good experience with that company. Out of 30 members, they had selected only 6 members for the next technical round.

Prepare well in aptitude and mechanical paper if you are going to attend the interview in Goodrich aerospace.

All the best!!!

Quest global interview questions | For B.E and B.Tech Mechanical engineer

In this post, I want to share my interview experience with Quest-global  Engineering pvt ltd, which is located at ecospace campus at Bangalore.
Quest global interview – off campus drive
Post: Design/analysis engineer
Though I am an aeronautical engineer, they had allowed me to register in their websites for the off-campus drive. It was good to see the entire campus, but the saddest thing was crowd, consists of over 1000 people with interview call letter.

After several quarrel, candidates were allowed to enter campus by forming a queue. We were standing in the line for more than four hours without proper instruction from the recruiter. Finally, I entered in to interview hall, where more candidates sat for the same interview.

They gave me a question booklet, which consists of 75 questions (30 – aptitude 45- engineering questions). Actually, I hadn’t prepared for the aptitude part and I did not able to answer that area. After came home, I referred the aptitude book and found that questions were asked from the following topics

Aptitude questions – Charts, average, age, simplification, distance, time and work etc.,
Engineering question – stress, viscosity, column, beams – strength of material and other common related question

My suggestion is: Be good in aptitude to crack the exam, because I failed to pass. In the case of engineering problem, it was normal question to answer, except some questions.

     All the best!!!

QUEST -GLOBAL Interview process consists of three rounds:
Written test
Technical interview
HR round
